Until end of the year, Panda will donate 100% Profits to Afghanistan

In response to the horrid circumstances in Afghanistan, Panda has committed to donating 100% of its profits from now until the end of 2022 to charities in the fight against this humanitarian crisis.

There is not a situation more dire than what is happening in Afghanistan right now, and now is the time for action.  Please read the BBC article about the situation in Afghanistan  (trigger warning: extreme poverty, human trafficking, famine).

Panda has a long history of serving the needy through socially-responsible consumerism.  For over 10 years, we've been supporting the efforts of Optometry Giving Sight, a charitable organization committed to ending debilitating blindness by providing universal access to eye care services to those in need.

We remain committed to this purpose by donating a free eye exam and pair of glasses for each pair of Panda sunglasses sold.  This will remain our primary focus.

In an effort to help the suffering in Afghanistan, from now until the end of 2022, Panda will donate 100% of all profits to the following charities:

We are asking members of our Panda tribe to support this cause in the following ways.

1. Consider making a purchase of a pair of Panda sunglasses for a friend or family member as a Xmas gift.
2. Recommending Panda to a family member, friend, or co-worker.
3. Posting our cause to social media in an effort to increase awareness.
